Cam Ranh Ward People's Committee: Requesting the contractor to speed up the construction progress of Le Duan Street Project, Section 3

According to the People's Committee of Cam Ranh Ward, through inspection and reporting by the professional department, currently the Le Duan Street Project, Section 3, has only completed about 75% of the project volume. Specifically, the excavation and filling of the roadbed has reached about 98%; the crushed stone construction has reached about 70%; the asphalt concrete paving has reached about 40%; the curb and island construction has reached about 80%. When the professional department inspected the current status of the project, it was found that the construction unit was leveling, rolling the road surface, constructing crushed stone, building a drainage system, and constructing curbs. However, the personnel and machinery currently implementing the construction are still few and scattered. The construction sites of the drainage system along the fence of the People's Court of Area 2, Tran Phu Secondary School and the sections crossing Pham Van Dong Street have not been restored, causing loss of urban aesthetics and affecting traffic.

Le Duan Street Project, Section 3 (from Nguyen Luong Bang Street to Le Loi Street) is under construction to connect with the existing Le Duan Street.   is invested. This route plays a very important role in creating regional connectivity from Cam Lam New Urban Area which is being prepared for implementation to Cam Ranh Port, to the North - South railway to go to the southern economic center of the province, reducing the load on National Highway 1. When the route is put into operation, it will contribute to completing the urban transport network, creating momentum to increase the value of land funds on both sides of the road, and new development space. The project's slow progress will affect the socio-economic development of the locality.

On the afternoon of August 25, the leader of the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Agricultural and Transport Works said that he had requested the Joint Venture of Construction and Investment Company Limited - Khanh Anh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (the contractor) to urgently implement the requirements of Cam Ranh Ward People's Committee.

Previously, on August 21, Khanh Hoa Newspaper published an article "Le Duan Street, Section 3, is behind schedule" reflecting that although the Le Duan Street, Section 3 project started construction in July 2024 and was expected to be completed in July 2025, the project is still in disarray and behind schedule.
