With only 3 months left to complete the project as committed, contractors of the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway are speeding up construction, some sections are now eligible for asphalt paving.
According to schedule, Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway connecting with Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway will be completed in 2023. Currently, there are only 3 months left to complete the construction of the items. Talking to reporters, Mr. Pham Quang Hiep - Director of Hiep Phu Company Limited said that the unit started construction from Km2+500, and has basically completed the first and second layers of crushed stone aggregate spreading, and is currently spreading cement-reinforced crushed stone aggregate. Photo: Nguyen Tung According to the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects of Tuyen Quang Province (Project Investor), as of September 30, Package 24 of IC9 Intersection Construction had completed 100% of the contract value, the remaining 7 packages had reached 18 - 90%. According to the project investor, the unit is urging contractors to speed up progress to complete the expressway in 2023. However, some current bid packages have not kept up with the contract progress, due to the prolonged rainy days in 2023 affecting construction.
