On the night of September 12, a fire broke out in a mini apartment building in Khuong Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi, resulting in 56 deaths and 37 injuries. The lucky survivors were left empty-handed and suffered heavy losses.

Sharing the consequences of the fire, singer Tung Duong and his cousin - musician Tang Duy Tan - author of the hit song Lonely on the Sofa, along with many friends, joined hands to support the victims and their families to overcome the consequences.

On the evening of September 14, musician Tang Duy Tan flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi with his cousin - singer Tung Duong and musician Nguyen Huu Vuong to the apartment building where the fire occurred to commemorate the victims and then give money to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khuong Dinh ward.

On the morning of September 15, singer Tung Duong went to Bach Mai Hospital to directly visit the 25 survivors of the fire. The haunting and heartbreaking stories told by the victims moved Tung Duong deeply.

"I had a quick chat with some of the victims and the more I listened, the more I sympathized with the losses they had to go through. One man said that when the fire broke out, he and his wife had 3 children, the youngest was 27 months old...

During the move, a little girl ran after her parents but got lost, so in the end she did not jump down with them and died. The pain of losing her child in such a difficult situation will haunt him and he will never forget it,'' Tung Duong recounted.

The male singer said that the total amount of money he, Tang Duy Tan and close friends silently donated together was 370,300,000 VND.

"The number is not large, but it is our sharing with those who have been facing losses and injuries since the fire. We hope that those who remain will soon overcome this pain," said Tung Duong.

Previously, as Dan Tri reported, Miss Thuy Tien also contacted Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) - where some victims of the mini apartment fire in Khuong Ha are being treated - to contribute 20 million VND to support food expenses for the victims' families.

Singer Du Thien was also present at the scene of the fire, contributing 20 million VND to help the victims' families.

Many Vietnamese artists also expressed their sadness and regret over the incident, and postponed a number of art programs and projects that were due to launch at this time.

On the afternoon of September 14, singer Phuong My Chi announced that the release date of her album Vu tru co bay (The Flying Storks) had been postponed to the evening of September 18 (originally scheduled for the evening of September 14), to express her sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims of the fire. The singer believes that her audience and fans will understand and support her decision.

Phuong My Chi shared: "Before the sad news about the mini apartment fire in Hanoi, I am extremely sad and deeply sympathize with the pain of the country, of Hanoi and the families who lost their loved ones in this disaster. It is truly a huge loss, nothing can compensate".

Pharmacist Tien - producer of the show The New Mentor - also announced that the latest episode of the show will be postponed to the evening of September 17.
