Recreating the space of the Nagashi Somen bamboo noodle festival, Cosplay festival, Anime scene, flashmob competition for 300 students from 8 high schools in Da Nang.
According to the leaders of Dong A University, the school has persistently organized the annual festival for 10 years because of the effectiveness it brings to students; helping students have the opportunity to learn and explore Japanese culture, people and language.
“More and more students from Dong A University are choosing Japan as their destination to pursue and develop their careers. In the first quarter of this year alone, nearly 100 students from the majors of Tourism, Japanese Language, Nursing, Automotive Engineering Technology, Construction, Electricity - Electronics, Food Technology, Nutrition, Business Administration, etc. of Dong A University have gone to Japan for internships and work,” the school representative informed.
Recognizing the diligence and perseverance of Dong A University over 10 years of organizing the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange event, Mr. Mori Takero - Consul General of Japan in Da Nang City hopes that through the cultural exchange festival, students will partly see the beauty of Japan, especially the beauty of the Vietnam - Japan relationship.
“Dong A University has connected and built a network of partners including 8 provinces and cities, 13 universities and academies, and more than 130 large and small Japanese corporations and enterprises. Thanks to this diverse network of partners, it has greatly supported students in finding jobs after graduation at businesses in Japan as well as Japanese businesses in Vietnam. I am extremely proud of this,” said Mr. Mori Takero.
On this occasion, Omdo Overseas Human Resources Exploitation Organization (Japan) awarded many scholarships to students participating in internships at Japanese partners with a total value of nearly 70 million VND.
