Planting more than 1,000 trees on Sa Mu Pass

Responding to World Environment Day June 5, today June 4, at Sa Mu Pass, Huong Hoa District Youth Union, Quang Tri Province coordinated with the Bac Huong Hoa Protective Forest Management Board to launch the program "Livelihood trees - natural disaster prevention".

At the program, more than 100 youth union members planted more than 1,000 trees of various types such as xoan, séo, cajuput... on an area of ​​1.2 hectares.

This is a practical activity of the youth union to actively implement measures to reforest bare land and hills to protect the environment, increase forest cover, and combat climate change. In particular, it contributes to the restoration of natural forests in areas affected by landslides caused by natural disasters in previous years.

Through activities to raise awareness of forest protection, environmental protection, climate change prevention for the goal of sustainable development. At the same time, educate and raise the sense of responsibility of young people in afforestation, forest protection, and ecological environment protection.
