Performance of intangible cultural heritage of Cau River basin

At the Floating Stage on the Cau River and the Cau River Walking Street (Bac Kan City), the Program of Performing Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Cau River Basin took place.

The program took place at the Floating Stage on Song Cau River and Song Cau Walking Street (Bac Kan City).

The program with the theme “Song Cau - the source of heritage” introduces typical intangible cultural heritages of the provinces in the Cau River basin such as: Ly Thien Thai folk songs, Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs; typical ethnic costumes of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces; Tac Xinh dance - a dance imbued with the culture of the San Chay people, combined with the smooth and profound Sang Co melody - like the emotional song of the mountains and forests with the performance of the Thai Nguyen Province Folk Artists Group; Then singing, Tinh lute - a traditional art form of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups in Bac Kan province.

At the Program, viewers will embark on an artistic journey - where heritage is awakened through each cut, where tradition is recreated with new creative inspiration..., through the performance of Designer Thao Giang's collection.

Then singing and Tinh lute performance - a traditional art form of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups in Bac Kan province.

On this occasion, 18 collectives and 1 individual with many achievements in participating in activities celebrating the 125th anniversary of the founding of Bac Kan province; 50 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day and Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week in 2025 received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province.

The Organizing Committee also awarded the prize for the Beautiful Photo Contest of Cau River Basin Tourism. The "Beautiful Photo Contest of Cau River Basin Tourism" is part of the series of activities of "Bac Kan Culture-Tourism Week" in 2025, organized by Bac Kan Newspaper: As of April 21, 2025, the Organizing Committee of the contest received 554 photo works.

Out of a total of 554 photo entries, in the Preliminary round, the Jury selected 28 photos and groups of photos for the Final round and in the Final round, the Organizing Committee and the Jury selected 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes; 5 Encouragement Prizes; 1 Prize with the most shares.
