DNO - According to Report No. 48/BC-UBND dated January 31, 2025 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City on the situation of the Lunar New Year At Ty (from January 25 to January 31, 2025, from December 26 to the 3rd day of Tet), the total number of visitors to Da Nang during the Lunar New Year At Ty in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 456,000 visitors, an increase of 13.5% compared to the Lunar New Year Giap Thin (2024).

Agencies, localities and units have implemented many activities to organize Lunar New Year, especially focusing on taking care of policy families, poor households, households in difficult circumstances, social subjects, ethnic minorities, households cleared of projects, workers in industrial parks, with the goal of ensuring that every family and every person can enjoy Tet and welcome spring.

The city visited and presented gifts to meritorious people, relatives of meritorious people, social beneficiaries, organizations, individuals... with a total cost of 126.14 billion VND, of which 7.4 billion VND came from the central budget, 108.48 billion VND from the city budget and 10.25 billion VND from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

The city leaders have organized programs to visit, encourage and wish a happy new year to businesses, localities, units, individuals, and families with meritorious services; meet artists, intellectuals, religious figures, and units and forces serving the New Year; visit agencies and units on duty and working on New Year's Eve and serving the New Year, especially visiting and encouraging cadres, soldiers, employees, and laborers working directly at the scene.

Functional units have arranged forces and means to ensure good service to people's needs, to prevent power outages, water shortages, and communication interruptions; to ensure environmental sanitation and urban beauty to welcome Tet.

The city strengthens management, operation, and price stabilization in the market, implements solutions to ensure supply and demand of goods, combat smuggling, counterfeit goods, and trade fraud before, during, and after Tet, and prevents unusual fluctuations that affect economic and social life.

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the city focus on doing a good job of propaganda and mobilizing union members and people to welcome spring and enjoy Tet with a joyful and healthy spirit.

During the Lunar New Year 2025, the city organizes many attractive activities and events to serve residents and tourists.

The total number of visitors to Da Nang during the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 456,000, an increase of 13.5% compared to the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin (2024), of which international visitors are estimated to reach more than 221,000, an increase of 25%, domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 235,000; total tourism revenue is estimated to reach VND 1,780 billion, an increase of 12.6%; the general capacity of accommodation establishments is estimated to reach about 50%, of which 4-5 star and equivalent groups reach 60-65% (an increase of nearly 10% compared to the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin).

Work to ensure security and safety for tourists and environmental sanitation in the city continues to be seriously implemented.

Preparations and organization of Lunar New Year in the city were carried out carefully, safely and economically.

Officials, party members and people of the city welcomed the Lunar New Year in a joyful, exciting and healthy atmosphere; goods were abundant and plentiful (the total value of food and foodstuff reserves for Tet reached 2,812 billion VND); the material and spiritual life of the people and families of policy beneficiaries was taken care of; ensuring care for people's health and food safety.

Activities, events and festivals are well organized, meeting the needs of people and tourists.
