"8Wonder Summer 2025: Moments of Wonder" concert (August 23)
Taking place at 7:45 p.m. on August 23 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, the National Day Concert on September 2 features a series of international stars such as DJ Snake, J Balvin, DPR IAN, The Kid Laroi, and Vietnamese artists including Soobin and Hoa Minzy.
The concert is a musical journey that awakens national pride, marking a new step in the journey of Vietnamese culture and arts reaching out to the world.
Art and political program "Independence Star" (August 24 - Hoan Kiem Theater)
The 2025 political art program “Independence Star” has the theme “For a prosperous Vietnam,” and is structured with 3 chapters and 15 performances with various genres of art: singing, dancing, music, and commentary, combining sound, light, images with Hologram technology, laser, 3D LED... both historical, traditional, and folk, and combined with the creative colors of contemporary art technology.
The art program promises to bring to the audience nationwide heroic and touching moments, with pride, gratitude, faith and aspiration to rise up strongly and join hands to build the country. That aspiration has been fueling the traditional fire so that today's generations continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, unite, build and protect our country to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.
The program was broadcast live at 8:10 p.m. on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television, rebroadcast on Hanoi Radio and Television, People's Police Television (ANTV) and spread on other social media.
Concert "Vietnam in me" (August 26)
The concert "Vietnam in Me" directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be held at 8:00 p.m. on August 26 at the National Exhibition Center, as part of a series of activities to exhibit socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), to honor historical values and national spirit.
The program brings together many famous artists loved by young people such as SOOBIN, Hoa Minzy, Erik, Duc Phuc, Anh Tu, Quan AP, Duong Hoang Yen and the music group Chillies.
With the theme Vietnam in me, the music night is where artists and audiences express their love for the Fatherland.
The program offers free tickets to Vietnamese citizens aged 14 and over. Each person can receive up to 2 tickets, and must bring their original ID card when receiving the tickets.
Tickets will be distributed on August 20, 21, and 22, from 9:00 to 11:30 in the morning and from 1:00 to 4:30 in the afternoon at the Hanoi Opera House. The organizers will distribute 3,000 tickets each day.
Exhibition “80 years of journey of Independence-Freedom-Happiness” (from August 28 to September 5)
Taking place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, the Exhibition has the participation of central ministries, branches, 34 provinces and cities, and typical state-owned and private enterprises. The Exhibition focuses on introducing the country's development achievements in many fields.
Along with the exhibition activities are art programs, forums, seminars, exchanges and rich experiences.
Light mapping art show (August 29 and 30)
Taking place at 8pm on August 29 and 30 at several monuments, Hoan Kiem Lake walking space, Turtle Tower and surrounding areas, the program has the themes "Thang Long Convergence" and "Sounds of Hanoi."
The program is a combination of contemporary visual art with lighting technology, 3D mapping, music and interactive performances, to recreate unique slices of history, culture and people of Hanoi in its journey of development with the country.
Experience program "80 years - Proud of Vietnam" (August 30 and September 2)
The program will take place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square. From 9am to 10pm, the space around Hoan Kiem Lake will open 3 experience stations: Uncle Ho in the heart of the nation, Truong Son memories, Continuing the story of peace.
On the night of September 2, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the large stage by the lake will light up with an art program gathering many famous artists, professional art units and hundreds of extras and art students.
Art program "Hanoi - Forever shining Vietnamese aspiration" (August 31)
Taking place at 8:00 p.m. on August 31 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh), the unique, large-scale comprehensive art program combines music, dance, animation, 3D mapping projection, modern sound and light.
Art Night at My Dinh National Stadium (September 1)
The program is divided into three chapters, with themes imbued with epic and national spirit, including the path to independence and unification; longing for the Fatherland; My Fatherland, has never been so beautiful.
As expected, the program will bring together leading artists from many generations, including people's artists, meritorious artists and many popular singers and bands.

Art programs on the evening of September 2 in Hanoi
- “Under the Golden Stars” takes place at My Dinh Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
- “Immortal epic” - Lac Long Quan flower garden (7:30 p.m.).

Five fireworks display locations
At 9:00 p.m. on September 2, the capital's sky will light up with a 15-minute fireworks display at 5 locations:
- Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoan Kiem ward)
- Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung ward)
- Van Quan Lake (Van Quan ward)
- My Dinh National Stadium (My Dinh ward)
- Lac Long Quan flower garden area (Tay Ho ward)
Some good places to watch fireworks include My Dinh Stadium Square; coffee shops inside Thong Nhat Park; high-rise hotels in the Old Quarter, Thuy Ta Restaurant, 73 Cau Go Building (next to the old Ham Ca Map Building); coffee shops around Van Quan Lake; coffee shops and buildings along West Lake.
In addition, tall buildings near the fireworks display sites are easily observed.
Screening of feature films and historical documents
The film series includes 80 mobile screenings to serve people in wards and communes, workers in industrial parks, export processing zones, students of universities, colleges, high schools, vocational schools; and prisoners in reform and re-education camps in Hanoi.
Audiences will enjoy many valuable revolutionary films such as “August Star,” “Hanoi Winter 1946,” “Hanoi 12 Days and Nights,” “Dong Loc Intersection,” “Peach, Pho and Piano,” and “Wild Field.”
There will also be 40 screenings at Kim Dong Cinema (Cua Nam Ward) and 2/9 Cinema (Son Tay Ward) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from August 1 to September 15./.
