Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong had a working session with representatives of the Ministry of National Defense on coordinating the implementation of tasks to organize military parades and marches in the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong said that he thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Steering Committee on organizing the celebration of a number of major holidays and historical events; Instruction No. 135-HD/BTGTW dated January 8, 2024 of the Central Propaganda Department on organizing activities to celebrate major holidays and important historical events in the 3 years 2023-2025, including organizing parades and marches during the Anniversary in Dien Bien province. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hopes to have close coordination with the Ministry of National Defense in implementing the parade and march program during the Anniversary.
The Deputy Minister stated that the event aimed to affirm the significance, stature and great historical value of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory and the continuous strong development of the Vietnam People's Army, the Militia and Self-Defense Force and the People's Public Security over the past 70 years under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Major General Tran Dang Thanh, Deputy Director of the Military Training Department, said that the Ministry of National Defense has established a Parade Subcommittee headed by a Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, with a number of comrades from ministries, sectors, and localities participating to implement the Project.
At the same time, develop a plan to organize forces, prepare for combat, ensure uniforms, equipment and organize training for Army and Militia forces participating in parades, and ceremonial and ceremonial artillery forces.
"The Ministry of National Defense will be the focal point for synthesizing and drafting the content of the explanations for the parades and marches to send to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for comments and to the Central Propaganda Department for appraisal. I hope the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will have a permanent representative to discuss the Program's script. The Program will be pre-approved on May 3 and rehearsed on May 5," said Major General Tran Dang Thanh.
