Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh has just signed and issued a Directive on strengthening the direction, coordination, and organization of the high school graduation exam and university and vocational education entrance exam in 2025 in Hanoi.

On the basis of promoting the results achieved in organizing annual exams and admissions, ensuring seriousness, objectivity, honesty, safety, and proactively and actively preparing necessary conditions to ensure improving the quality of teaching, learning and organizing well the exams and admissions in 2025, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested agencies and units based on their assigned functions and tasks to focus on directing the synchronous and effective implementation of the tasks and solutions set out, focusing on a number of key contents.

Accordingly, the city's departments, branches, and sectors, and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities must lead and direct the organization of the exam in a drastic and comprehensive manner, reducing pressure, costs, and expenses for candidates, families, and society; and carefully and thoroughly prepare conditions.

Information and communication work must be proactive, timely, and complete; absolutely no negligence or subjectivity; flexible and effective handling of arising issues, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates.

The City Chairman requested the Department of Education and Training to direct, guide, and inspect the innovation of methods, organization of teaching and learning activities, review, testing, and assessment for students; ensure all necessary factors for the exam, not to let students, teachers, and general education institutions be passive or have difficulties when participating in and organizing the exam.

At the same time, the Department of Education and Training directs and organizes exam registration, manages exam registration files in accordance with regulations; focuses on professional training for those involved in organizing the exam.

The Department of Education and Training advises the Steering Committee for the high school graduation exam in the city to direct the organization and implementation and take full responsibility for the exam in the city; provide accurate, timely and complete regulations and necessary information about the exam; strengthen information and communication work before, during and after the exam, creating social consensus and support from the people.

In addition, it is necessary to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns to fully prepare conditions, especially response plans for unusual situations to organize the exam to achieve the set goals and requirements; ensure security, order and safety at exam venues in the city.
