Specifically, the folk song performance cost 10 million VND to choreograph, 5.61 million VND to rent costumes, 6 million VND to pay for food and drinks for 10 members of the art troupe, and sports activities. The total cost for this performance is 21.61 million VND.

According to the budget, parents from the talent training center providing the above service donated 3 million VND. The remaining budget is 18.61 million VND.

After listing the cost of the performance, the open letter reads: "Because the 8A1 class fund is not enough to pay for this performance, the class representative board and the homeroom teacher wrote this open letter to the parents of the class, hoping to receive support, solidarity and deep concern, sharing in a constructive spirit, accompanying the class, so that the children can have fun activities, meaningful gratitude as well as many unforgettable moments of student life.

Therefore, the 8A1 Class Representative Board hopes to receive the agreement of parents, and hopes to receive additional financial support to maintain this meaningful activity."

Information from Nguyen Chi Thanh Secondary School, this is a program launched to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20.

The class's parent representative committee discussed with the homeroom teacher about hiring a choreographer for the performance. In the class, there is a parent who owns a talent training center, so he sent this budget estimate to the parent representative committee for reference.

However, because this budget was too high and inappropriate, the teacher discussed it with the class's Parents' Representative Committee and did not accept this budget.

Ms. Lai Thi Bach Huong, Principal of Nguyen Chi Thanh Secondary School, shared that the school did not direct classes to raise large amounts of money from parents for the performance.

The school also asked teachers and the class's Parents' Association to consider appropriate options and not to solicit or collect such large sums of money from parents.

It is known that after the incident, the parents working at the talent training center promised to sponsor all expenses for the class to stage the performance. However, the cost of food and drink for the students during the practice will depend on the parents' ability to contribute and perform.
