Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong chaired the conference at the Tuyen Quang province bridge.

In the period 2013-2023, the whole country has over 300 organizations, enterprises and individuals investing in socialization to build schools, classrooms and public houses for teachers with a total budget of over 32,800 billion VND, building nearly 36,000 classrooms and over 1,200 public rooms. The whole country strives to have 100% of classrooms solidified by 2030 (about over 75,000 classrooms) and invest in building enough public rooms for teachers according to demand (about over 10,000 classrooms).

In Tuyen Quang, the province's rate of solid classrooms is 68%. Of which, the rate of solid classrooms is 49.8% at preschool level, 66.6% at primary level, 88.9% at secondary level and 95% at high school level. Of these, there are 1,181 public rooms for teachers.

However, mobilizing social resources to consolidate schools and classrooms in the past has encountered many difficulties. Many schools and classrooms are currently lacking and cannot meet current teaching and learning requirements, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority areas.

At the conference, delegates discussed and proposed solutions to further strengthen the socialization of school, classroom and teacher housing consolidation, joining hands to contribute and create motivation for the education sector to improve the quality of education...

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long acknowledged and commended the education sector and related ministries, branches, units, organizations, businesses, households and individuals for their important contributions to effectively implementing the socialization of education, especially the consolidation of classrooms and the construction of public housing for teachers in the recent period. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that, along with investment from the State budget, mobilizing social resources is an important resource to contribute to the construction of infrastructure, spacious classrooms, creating motivation to improve the quality of education.

The Deputy Prime Minister shared the difficulties faced by schools, teachers and students in remote and disadvantaged areas, where classrooms and facilities are still lacking and have not been invested in. At the same time, he requested the Ministry of Education and Training, ministries, branches, central agencies and localities to continue to pay attention to and effectively implement the socialization of education in consolidating schools, classrooms and building public housing for teachers in the coming time.

Localities need to review and adjust the school network planning to suit the socio-economic development conditions. Along with that, strengthen coordination between localities and units and enterprises, build appropriate support policies to encourage investment activities in education; encourage the public-private partnership (PPP) model to make the most of resources from the private sector, while reducing the burden on the state budget. In addition, it is necessary to establish a mechanism to closely monitor the mobilization and use of socialized resources, ensuring transparency and efficiency...

At the conference, the Ministry of Education and Training honored and commended organizations, households and individuals who have made many contributions to the socialization of school and classroom consolidation. At the same time, it received funding from units and businesses to support the work of school and classroom consolidation and the construction of public housing for teachers in the coming time.
