Over the years, the Provincial General Hospital has made remarkable progress in all aspects, affirming its role and position as a provincial-level specialized technical general hospital, becoming a trusted address, increasingly attracting a large number of patients from inside and outside the province to come for medical examination and treatment. The hospital has actively contributed to the overall achievements of the health sector in protecting and caring for people's health and the socio -economic development of the province.

With the orientation of becoming a high-tech center of the mountainous province, the hospital has invested heavily in modern equipment such as: Multi-slice CT-Scanner, 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, digital angiography (DSA) system; new generation digestive endoscopy system with magnification and staining functions to diagnose early digestive tract cancer; automatic testing machine, meeting national standards; endoscopic surgery system; laser garlic crusher; Phaco surgery machine...

In particular, since 2020, the hospital has put the Cardiovascular Intervention Department into operation, and has so far performed more than 2,000 coronary interventions - an important milestone bringing the Hospital to the same level as Central Cardiovascular Centers.

In the coming time, the Hospital will continue to focus on training and building a team of doctors with good ethics, dedication to the profession, and high professional qualifications; increase the application of information technology in medical examination and treatment management, aiming to build a smart hospital.
