Received nearly 800 million VND worth of seedlings and materials to support the Xo Dang people

On July 24, the Party Committee of Tu Mo Rong commune ( Quang Ngai province) held the 1st Party Congress of the commune, term 2025-2030.

Previously, Tu Mo Rong commune issued a notice not accepting congratulatory flowers for the congress, instead encouraging people and businesses to support seedlings, fertilizers or funds for the program "Nurturing the future - Developing sustainable crops in Tu Mo Rong". The goal is to support the Xo Dang people in building high-value economic models and sustainable development. This message then spread widely on social networks, was shared by many people, and was considered practical and meaningful.

On the morning of the congress, in the midst of heavy rain, many people and businesses participated in supporting. A total of 104,500 coffee seedlings, 28,000 pine seedlings, 2 tons of fertilizer and 212 million VND in cash were received, equivalent to nearly 800 million VND.

Mr. Tran Quoc Huy, Chairman of Tu Mo Rong Commune People's Committee, expressed his gratitude for the support of the people and businesses. According to him, these resources will be allocated reasonably, with priority given to supporting poor and near-poor households to develop the economy. Pine trees will be planted to create landscapes and buffer zones for medicinal herbs, contributing to the development of local tourism . The money received will be used to create nurseries in 17 villages to buy seeds for planting, then continue to distribute to the people. As for the coffee trees that have been received, the organization will distribute them immediately for people to plant.

Immediately after the reception ceremony, the Commune Party Congress officially opened. The Organizing Committee announced the decision to appoint personnel for the new term, in which Mr. Vo Trung Manh holds the position of Commune Party Secretary; Mr. A Rin Ka is the Standing Deputy Secretary; Mr. Tran Quoc Huy holds the position of Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Commune People's Committee.
