Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 5: Announcement and handover of decisions to presiding officers

On March 27, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 5 held a conference to announce and present the decision to the presiding officers. Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 5 chaired and presented the decision. Attending the event were Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of Military Region 5 and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 5.

At the conference, Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach and Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc announced and presented the decisions of the Ministry of National Defense to appoint 12 comrades to positions and decide to retire according to the regime with 1 comrade. Particularly for the Ninh Thuan Provincial Military Command, Colonel Luu Xuan Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5, Colonel Nguyen Tuy, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff was appointed to the position of Commander of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Military Command.

Colonel Luu Xuan Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command (middle) was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Military Region Party Committee, Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach congratulated and acknowledged the contributions of the comrades who received this decision to the results of the implementation of the tasks of the Military Region's Armed Forces in the past time, and at the same time acknowledged and highly appreciated the comrades throughout their work, always being exemplary cadres, completing all assigned tasks well. The Political Commissar of the Military Region hoped that the comrades appointed to new positions would continue to cultivate, train and improve their qualifications and capacity, innovate working methods and styles; build internal solidarity, and work with the Party Committee to lead and direct the unit to successfully complete assigned tasks.
