On the afternoon of November 24, at the Gia Vien District Cultural House, a dialogue conference took place between the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and officials and farmer members in the district.

Participating in the dialogue were comrades in the Executive Committee of the District Farmers' Association; Chairmen of the Farmers' Associations of communes and towns and over 300 delegates who are officials of the grassroots Farmers' Association, heads of Farmers' Associations, good farmers' households in production and business, enterprises producing and trading agricultural products, cooperatives, cooperative groups, branches and professional farmers' associations in the district.

In a democratic and constructive atmosphere, cadres and farmer members in the district shared, discussed, gave comments and proposed to the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee a number of issues arising in the process of Association activities and production and business development.

Specifically, officials and members proposed that the district have solutions to support farmers with agricultural insurance premiums according to Decree No. 58/2018/ND-CP; support the consumption of agricultural products and the development of products that meet OCOP standards; handle the situation of illegal construction encroaching on agricultural land; create conditions for farmers to access loans from the Social Policy Bank, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Farmers' Support Fund; support communes that meet advanced NTM standards to reduce the rate of poor and near-poor households to below 1%; have appropriate support policies for officials who have to leave work when implementing the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units...

The opinions and recommendations of cadres and farmer members raised at the dialogue session were fully received and responded to by the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and leaders of the district's specialized departments and offices within their authority.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Hoang Manh Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions of the district's cadres and farmers' association members with the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the district's professional departments.

He emphasized: The dialogue is an opportunity to encourage and motivate cadres and farmer members to express their thoughts, aspirations, concerns and difficulties in the process of performing tasks at the grassroots level with the district leaders. At the same time, it helps cadres, members and farmers better understand the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws; helps the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to propose solutions to lead and direct the improvement of the quality of activities of the Farmers' Association at all levels and have mechanisms and policies to care for and create more favorable conditions for farmer members to develop comprehensively in the coming time.

Discussing and clarifying some issues raised by delegates at the dialogue, he requested relevant departments, agencies and sectors to continue reviewing unresolved issues under their authority, clearly stating the completion time; any issues that are still stuck due to mechanisms and policies will be answered so that delegates can understand and have a roadmap for consultation and direction on resolution.
