On September 19, at the US Congress headquarters in Washington DC, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Congressman Kevin McCarthy, Speaker of the US House of Representatives; Congressman Michael McCaul, Chairman of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee on the occasion of the Prime Minister's attendance at the High-level General Debate of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his delight at the important progress in bilateral relations in recent times, especially the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership framework for peace, cooperation and sustainable development during President Joe Biden's recent visit to Vietnam.
