Press release on the third working day and closing session of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee

On the morning of April 12, the Central Committee worked at the Hall. Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, chaired the meeting on behalf of the Politburo.

Comrade General Secretary To Lam presided over the implementation of the process of introducing additional plans for the 14th Party Central Committee. The Central Committee and delegates attending the Conference discussed preparations for the 14th Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; listened to the Special Report on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation.

The Politburo met to receive and explain the opinions discussed by the Central Committee on April 11 and the morning of April 12, 2025, on preparations for the 14th National Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Afternoon: The Central Committee held its closing session at the Hall. Comrade Tran Thanh Man , Politburo member and Chairman of the National Assembly, chaired the meeting on behalf of the Politburo. Comrade Le Minh Hung , Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the Politburo's Report on receiving and explaining the continued reorganization of the political system, reorganization of administrative units and organization of two-level local governments. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang , Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, presented the Politburo's report on reception and explanation of the preparations for the 14th National Congress and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The Central Committee discussed the above contents and passed Resolution of the 11th Central Conference.
