Last week, Hanoi held several land auctions in Soc Son and Quoc Oai districts. The winning bids were all much higher than the starting prices.
Specifically, on March 29, the People's Committee of Soc Son district coordinated with Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company to organize an auction of land use rights in Thach Loi village, Thanh Xuan commune.
Accordingly, there are 33 plots of land auctioned with areas ranging from 108.6 m2 to 121.4 m2 with a starting price of 10.6 million VND/m2. The auction is conducted in a direct secret ballot in one round, according to the ascending price method.

The results showed that all 33 plots of land were successfully auctioned with an average price of 70 million VND to 100 million VND/m2. Of which, the plot of land with the symbol A1, area of 108.6 m2 had the highest winning price of 120.6 million VND, 11 times higher than the starting price.
According to the People's Committee of Soc Son district, the total amount collected after the auction of 33 land plots was about 289 billion VND, an increase of nearly 250 billion VND compared to the total starting price.
Previously, on March 28, the Land Fund Development Center of Quoc Oai district coordinated with National Auction Joint Stock Company No. 5 to successfully auction 26 land plots at the auction land area in Yen Quan village, Hung Dao commune.
Accordingly, the auctioned plots of land have an area of 85m2 to 122m2 with a starting price of about 5.5 million VND/m2. The auction is conducted by secret ballot in multiple rounds, with a minimum of 6 rounds using the ascending price method.
As a result, all 26 plots of land were successfully auctioned. The plot with the highest winning price was 104 million VND/m2 (nearly 19 times the starting price) and the lowest was 62 million VND/m2.
The amount of money Quoc Oai district collected from this land use rights auction was more than 197.3 billion VND.
According to plan, in April, many other areas in Hanoi, such as Me Linh, My Duc, Son Tay and Quoc Oai, will continue to organize land auctions.
For example, on April 3, My Duc district auctioned off the land use rights for 26 plots of land, with a total area of 2,787 square meters in An Tien, Van Tin, Huong Son, Le Thanh, Phu Luu Te communes and Dai Nghia town. The plots of land have an area of 76 - 250 square meters, with starting prices of 3.5 - 8.5 million VND/square meter. The auction method and format is a direct one-round vote at the auction using the ascending price method.
On the same day, My Duc district also auctioned the land use rights for 21 plots of land in My Xuyen commune. The plots of land have an area of 78 - 137 m2, with a starting price of 4.9 million VND/m2.
On April 4, Me Linh district organized an auction of land use rights for 47 plots of land at point X7, Nai Chau village, Chu Phan commune, with an area of 100 - 177 m2. The starting price was 5.6 million VND/m2. The form and method of auction was direct secret balloting in multiple rounds at the auction session according to the ascending price method.
From March 20 to April 16, Me Linh district continues to sell auction documents for 30/58 land plots (phase 1) at Point DT-01, Tien Thang commune. The auction will be held on April 18. These are all residential land with long-term use, the form of land use is the state allocates land with land use fees.
The land has completed the construction of surrounding technical infrastructure according to the project and is connected to the regional technical infrastructure system, especially with many utilities near schools, commune administrative centers, densely populated areas...

On April 5, Son Tay town also organized an auction of residential land use rights for 30 plots of land belonging to the project of constructing technical infrastructure for the land use rights auction in Van Goi - Dong Quan area, Vien Son ward. The plots of land have an area of 89 - 139 m2, starting price of 16.6 million VND/m2. The form and method of auction is direct voting at the auction according to the ascending price method.
On April 13, Quoc Oai district auctioned 15 plots of land (Area A) at the Technical Infrastructure Construction Project of auctioned land DG 06 (Sai Son commune belt road area). With a starting price of 10.7 million VND/m2, area from 99 - 118 m2, the plots of land will be auctioned by direct voting in multiple rounds according to the ascending price method.
