The Spring Press Festival is an opportunity to look back at the proud achievements that the press has made in the past year; at the same time, it stimulates continuous creativity and innovation in information, propaganda and reflection of important issues in society.

This is also an opportunity to introduce new press publications, update modern media trends, contribute to improving the quality and influence of the press in the digital transformation period. The 2025 Spring Press Festival will create a place for sightseeing and entertainment for people and tourists during the spring and promote Tet books, newspapers and magazines; contribute to honoring the reading culture, improving the spiritual life of the people.

Sharing with reporters of the Journalist and Public Opinion Newspaper, journalist Do Ngoc Ha, Permanent Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association, said: In 2024, storm No. 3 caused very heavy material damage to Quang Ninh province. At the end of the year and to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025, the Provincial Journalists Association hopes that people will have more cultural space, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

To prepare for the 2025 Spring Press Festival, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association has issued an early implementation plan, in addition to contacting the grassroots, also organizing early newspaper subscriptions. Including ordering spring newspapers of central press agencies, ministries, branches... Then synthesize them to distribute and organize exhibitions in localities.

Journalist Do Ngoc Ha shared: The new point of this year's Spring Press Festival is that the Provincial Journalists Association cooperates with units to combine the organization of the Spring Press Festival with the introduction of spring flowers, ornamental plants, traditional craft products... This has attracted more audiences to the Press Festival, creating more "spiritual food" and more choices during these spring days.

“In addition to Van Don district, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association will organize the Spring Press Festival in all 13 districts, towns and cities in the province. The Association will coordinate with the Centers for Culture, Sports and Communications and the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize. During the days of the exhibition, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association and staff working at the Centers for Culture, Sports and Communications will be on duty during office hours to introduce to the people about central and local press publications,” the Standing Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association added.

Also at this year's Spring Newspaper Festival, the Peach Blossom Fair and Ornamental Plant Exhibition 2025 were also held. The fair had the participation of many peach growing households in Ha Long commune, with hundreds of Van Don branded peach blossom trees introduced and displayed to serve tourists visiting and shopping during the Lunar New Year At Ty.

Right after the opening ceremony, many people and tourists came to visit, choose, shop and experience. The program will take place from January 18 to January 26, 2025 (ie December 19 to 27).
