The "Vietnam in Me" contest in 2023 aims to preserve traditional cultural values of the nation, promote and maintain cultural identity, and promote the precious traditional values of the Vietnamese people from the perspective of the young generation.
On October 24, the Central Youth Union launched a contest to learn about the patriotic historical traditions of the Vietnamese people called "Vietnam in me" in 2023.

BAO ANH
Contestants are individuals or groups of authors of Vietnamese nationality, studying, working, living in and outside the country, and under the age of 35 (at the time of participating in the contest).
Contest entries: introduce Vietnamese history and culture; cultural traditions of localities and ethnic groups; introduce national intangible cultural heritages of ethnic groups living in Vietnam: formation process, development history, preservation and conservation work in the current context of globalization.
The exam can also introduce the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; biography and career of President Ho Chi Minh; the country's achievements in the cause of innovation; new viewpoints and policies on the development of Vietnamese culture and people according to the documents of the 13th National Party Congress, and the cultural development strategy to 2030.
The content of the contest works includes the history of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union, the Vietnam Student Association, the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers; programs and activities of the Union, Association, and Pioneers; the role of the Union, Association, Pioneers and youth in preserving national cultural identity.
The theme of the contest is the role of youth in preserving national cultural identity.

The time for receiving entries is from October 26 to November 23, 2023. Union members and young people submit entries and vote for outstanding works through the program's website: www.vietnamtrongtoila.doanthanhnien.vn.
In the voting round, each author or group of authors will write an article on the above topic (no more than 1,200 words/article). Works are encouraged to be presented in the form of megastory, storytelling, etc. Works submitted to the contest can be submitted by uploading files to the contest submission section on the website: www.vietnamtrongtoila.doanthanhnien.vn.
Every week (from November 2 to 30, 2023), entries will be posted on the program's website for online voting.
At the end of each week, 1 article with the highest total online voting score and 1 article judged to be the best by the expert panel of the week will be awarded the weekly prize.
First prize worth 10 million VND
According to the contest rules, 8 works awarded weekly prizes in the voting round will participate in the final round. In the final round, the works will continue to be voted on the website: www.vietnamtrongtoila.doanthanhnien.vn by clicking "vote" on each article. Each person can only vote once for 1 work. Voting will take place within 3 days from 0:00 on December 2, 2023 to 23:59 on December 4, 2023.
Then, 8 authors and groups of authors will present their work (online) to the jury in the first week of December 2023. The presentation must state the meaning of the work, the cultural messages they want to convey through the work, and future directions to promote that message.
The contest organizers will announce the results and award prizes in the second week of December 2023.
Weekly prize: 1 work with the highest weekly votes on the website and 1 work highly appreciated by the professional council will be awarded a weekly prize worth 1 million VND.
Final prizes (including cash prizes and gifts): 1 first prize (worth 10 million VND); 1 second prize (worth 8 million VND); 1 third prize (worth 5 million VND). Authors and groups of authors with winning products will receive certificates from the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
In addition, the provincial, municipal and affiliated unions with the largest number of entries nationwide will receive a certificate from the Central Youth Union Secretariat and a prize of 3 million VND.
