Recently, the Organizing Committee announced the list of nominations for the Vietnam Golden Ball 2023.

Notably, this list features a number of players that surprised fans.

The first name is midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai. This star's talent is undeniable.

But since returning to play for CAHN Club in the second phase of V-League 2023, the midfielder from Dong Anh has not made many professional contributions.

Quang Hai's performances were quite bland and did not leave any strong impression.

There was even a time when Hai "son" lost his official position in the police team.

On the Vietnamese national team, Quang Hai also did not play very well in the matches that coach Troussier gave him the opportunity.

If he continues to play at his current level, it would not be surprising if the former Pau FC star loses his place in the national team.

Similarly, Tien Linh's appearance in the nomination list for the 2023 Vietnam Golden Ball is also a big surprise.

In the Golden Ball category for women, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha appeared for the first time with veteran seniors such as: Huynh Nhu, Pham Hai Yen, Tran Thi Thuy Trang and Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung.

The title of best young male player is a competition between Nguyen Dinh Bac, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Khuat Van Khang and Nguyen Thai Son.
