During the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Division 5 was assigned by Military Region 7 to select and train: 1 Liberation Army soldier block; 20 officers and professional soldiers to join the Coast Guard Officer block; 3 professional female soldiers to join the Saigon Special Forces female soldier block and the security force.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phan Anh, Deputy Division Commander of Division 5 chaired the conference.

The collective of officers and soldiers participating in the parade and marching are always mentally secure, clearly identify their responsibilities, and are determined to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Management and maintenance of regimes and order in accordance with regulations. 100% of officers and soldiers strictly comply with State laws, military discipline and unit regulations during the performance of duties.

Despite the erratic weather, high intensity of training and practice in many locations, officers and soldiers actively participated in training and practice, successfully completing the requirements and tasks. Logistics work ensured correct and sufficient standards, quantity and regime for the forces participating in training and practice.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phan Anh, Deputy Division Commander of Division 5, acknowledged and commended the efforts, solidarity, and endeavors of officers and soldiers in performing their duties, demonstrating the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, political courage, and discipline, demonstrating the discipline and strength of the Vietnam People's Army.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phan Anh requested agencies and units to do a good job of commendation, fully implement the regimes according to regulations, ensure publicity and transparency; officers and soldiers return to their units to quickly stabilize, continue to build motivation to study and work, and apply it to the training process at the unit.
