Participating in the parade at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Military Region 9 has 2 groups: the male group of Logistics and Technical Officers and the standing group of Border Guard Officers. In addition, Military Region 9 has 20 female soldiers participating in the parade belonging to the Female Special Forces Group.

Major General Chiem Thong Nhat, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 9, gave a speech at the conference to summarize and draw lessons.

After 5 months of training, practice, cluster practice, general practice, preliminary rehearsal, final rehearsal and the official ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City, the units participating in the parade and marching have successfully completed their tasks.

Major General Chiem Thong Nhat congratulated and warmly commended the forces participating in the parade. The Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 9 emphasized: “The forces participating in the parade are individuals who are exemplary in terms of standards, qualities, ethics, capacity, qualifications, and responsibility; carefully selected from agencies and units to organize training and participate in performing tasks that have achieved many proud results. This is also the core force that continues to train to participate in the parade in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”.

Award Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements.

On this occasion, Military Region 9 awarded Certificates of Merit to 135 individuals with outstanding achievements; awarded certificates of merit to 60 individuals with good achievements in participating in activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025). Military Region 9 also proposed that the Ministry of National Defense award Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 54 individuals; proposed that the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army award Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 83 individuals; proposed that the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army award Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals.
