On the morning of August 10, a working delegation from the Department of Home Affairs led by Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of the Department visited and encouraged 40 policy families in Tuong Duong commune who were severely affected by the recent flood.

On this occasion, the delegation visited and encouraged families of war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, people infected with toxic chemicals, and families with revolutionary contributions. The gift included 3 million VND in cash per family, with a total support budget of 120 million VND.

The entire amount was raised from contributions from officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Department of Home Affairs and the support of businesses and companies.

Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung and other members of the delegation kindly asked about the health, shared difficulties and encouraged the families to quickly overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives. He expressed deep sympathy for the losses that people had to endure after the recent flood.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the government and the families of beneficiaries, comrade Nguyen Hong Tai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong commune thanked and appreciated the attention and support of the staff, civil servants and public employees of the Department of Home Affairs. The gifts not only have material value but are also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping the families to firmly overcome difficulties.
