On May 23, the Party Cell of the Office of the Party Committee - Mass Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Party Cell of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a thematic inter-party cell meeting "Studying Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style".
This is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the emulation movement of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs towards the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) "Cadres and Party members of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs study and follow Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style".
Co-chairing the thematic session were comrade Nguyen Dac Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Secretary of the Party Cell of the Office of the Party Committee - Mass Organizations and comrade Nguyen Xuan Anh, member of the Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Cell, Chief Inspector of the Ministry. The reporter was comrade Pham Viet Anh, former Ambassador of Vietnam to the Netherlands.
The thematic meeting was attended by representatives of the Party Committee and Party members of the Party cells at the Office No. 2 Le Quang Dao, representatives of the Youth Union of the Diplomatic Academy and all cadres and Party members of the two Party Cells of the Office of the Party Committee - Mass Organizations and the Ministry Inspectorate.
The inter-party cell thematic meeting is an effective form of innovation and improvement of the quality of party cell activities in accordance with the direction of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies and the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has been actively implemented by the Party cells in the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in recent times. Particularly for the Party Cell of the Office of the Party Committee - Mass Organizations and the Ministry Inspectorate Party Cell, this is the third inter-party cell thematic meeting between the two Party Cells.
The thematic meeting is even more meaningful when it takes place in the historic month of May in a series of activities of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its affiliated Party Committees at home and abroad to organize practical activities to celebrate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024) with many diverse and rich forms to further spread the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, including Ho Chi Minh's ideology and diplomatic style among cadres, Party members and the Vietnamese community abroad.

At the seminar, Ambassador Pham Viet Anh, with his experience and enthusiasm, directly participated in conducting research projects on Ho Chi Minh's methods and style and from the practical implementation of foreign affairs, discussed the content and outstanding features of Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style, emphasizing that Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style is a very unique and special "slice" in Ho Chi Minh's style and that studying, learning and following Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style is of great importance to diplomatic staff, especially in the current context.

Ambassador Pham Viet Anh analyzed the origin of Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style, which comes from Vietnamese cultural traditions combined with the quintessence of human culture, and at the same time draws from profound knowledge about the world and outlook on life, and especially Ho Chi Minh's humane character, loyalty and loyalty, with patriotism and pure revolutionary ethics.
To learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style, Ambassador Pham Viet Anh said that diplomatic officials first need to build determination, practice perseverance, maintain political mettle and revolutionary ethics; cultivate knowledge and capacity to apply in foreign affairs practice.
In his presentation, the Ambassador also shared useful experiences and stories about President Ho Chi Minh's foreign affairs activities, how to handle situations in foreign affairs in the style of Ho Chi Minh's diplomacy, and the inheritance and development of Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic ideology in implementing current foreign affairs and diplomatic activities.

The conference devoted time for delegates to discuss and exchange on the application of Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style to diplomatic officials and their preparation for foreign affairs.
