Accordingly, the Delegation inspected Le Loi - Phan Chau Trinh street; alley 308 Hoang Dieu street; Trieu Nu Vuong street (from Nguyen Trai street to Hung Vuong street).

At the field inspection, District Party Secretary, Head of the City People's Council Delegation of Hai Chau District, Tran Thang Loi, discussed and pointed out many shortcomings and limitations and listened to direct recommendations and feedback from voters on issues such as urban aesthetics, fire safety in residential areas... related to telecommunication cables.

According to the report of Hai Chau District People's Committee, in 2023, the work of arranging telecommunication cables hanging on electric poles and telecommunication poles was well implemented by the units. The locality promptly handled the recommendations and reflections of the people of 13 wards in the area on issues related to telecommunication cables, sagging power cables, broken cables, etc.

At the same time, documents were sent to the authorities requesting prompt handling of many “hot” complaints from the people. Accordingly, the authorities promptly repaired roads in the district with a total length of about 16km.

The situation of telecommunications enterprises violating telecommunications cables on electric poles has decreased significantly compared to 2022. However, on some roads, alleys, and alleys, urban aesthetics are still lost due to illegal development of subscriber cables and failure to collect old unused cables.

In order to arrange and bury telecommunication cables in accordance with urban development requirements, Hai Chau District People's Committee requests competent authorities to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the synchronous burying of telecommunication cables to create urban beauty and traffic safety.

On the other hand, relevant units are required to combine synchronous undergrounding of telecommunication cables when implementing renovation, upgrading or new construction of traffic routes, apartment buildings, etc.

Secretary of the District Party Committee, Head of the delegation of the City People's Council of Hai Chau District, Tran Thang Loi, assessed that the actual inspection has shown the current status of the telecommunications cable system and the problems arising in handling it. At the same time, this is a stepping stone to have effective measures when burying some inner-city roads in the city center in the coming time.

The recommendations of voters, the District People's Committee, the Department of Information and Communications, and Hai Chau Electricity have accurately and specifically reflected the current situation. From here, the City People's Council Delegation of Hai Chau District will synthesize the proposals and recommendations to report to the competent authorities for attention, direction and support; thereby aiming to build Hai Chau District - a central and model urban area of ​​the city.

On the other hand, the Secretary of the Hai Chau District Party Committee requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to coordinate with the People's Committees of 13 wards to fully summarize voters' opinions related to the issue of telecommunication cables. At the same time, he requested the District People's Committee to proactively study technical measures for undergrounding telecommunication cables when implementing the expansion of dead-end roads and alleys in the area.
