On the morning of November 28, at Quan Son District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union held a launching ceremony for the Winter Volunteer Program 2024 and Spring Volunteer Program 2025.

Leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and Quan Son district presented the project "Lighting up the countryside road" to Tam Thanh commune, and the food safety mural road to Son Lu Primary and Secondary School.

Every November, the Winter and Spring volunteer programs are enthusiastically implemented by the provincial Youth Union and Association at all levels in remote, isolated and border areas of the province. This activity has become a beautiful feature of youth, demonstrating the spirit of volunteering and dedication to community life.

This year, the program is even more meaningful as the youth of the whole province are competing to welcome the success of the Congress of the Youth Union at all levels, the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province, towards the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029.

With the theme "I love my Fatherland", the program will be implemented from November 2024 to the end of February 2025 in the whole province, with priority given to mountainous units, communes with special difficulties, border areas, islands, areas affected by natural disasters, and communes that are completing the criteria for building new rural areas.

The program focuses on accompanying and caring for people and youth through implementing activities: "Sharing with farmers", "For community health", "For beloved juniors"...

Specifically, organizing propaganda, donating clothes, blankets, food, personal belongings, and learning tools to support children in difficult areas; participating in supporting the construction of "Boarding houses for children", "Beautiful schools for children", implementing the "Happy house" program; establishing local youth volunteer teams to respond to natural disasters and floods. Visiting, encouraging, and giving gifts to border posts, military units, police, and forces on duty during the Lunar New Year; giving gifts to children, families with meritorious services, and families in especially difficult circumstances. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Chau requested all levels of the Youth Union, associations, members and youth union members in the whole province to promote their intelligence, aspiration to contribute, and volunteer spirit; step up propaganda work before, during and after the campaign; enhance the spirit among young people, create a spreading effect so that volunteer activities become regular activities, become existing habits among union members, young people and the whole society.
