"A Gratitude Meal - Warmth and Love" with Heroic Vietnamese Mothers

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 24, the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union organized a "Gratitude Meal - Warmth of Love" at the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and gave gifts to policy families in Luong Son commune.

Comrade Le Ngoc Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Youth and Children's Affairs Committee, presented gifts from the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to the family of Mr. Le Xuan Tinh (Trung Thanh village).

The working delegation led by comrade Le Ngoc Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Youth and Children's Affairs Committee, together with the Party Committee, authorities, and the Luong Son Commune Youth Union visited and encouraged policy households, including Mr. Le Xuan Tinh (Trung Thanh village) and Mr. Do Cong Ly (Minh Quang village).

The delegation members expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of policy families; and at the same time paid tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national independence.

Representatives of the Provincial Youth Union presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Lang Thi Phong.

Next, the group organized a “Gratitude Meal - Warmth of Love” at the home of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Lang Thi Phong (103 years old) in Trung Thanh village. To bring a warm and happy meal, the youth union members went to the market, cleaned the house, cooked and had dinner with their mother.

In a warm and affectionate atmosphere, comrade Le Ngoc Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, on behalf of the members of the delegation, wished Mother good health so that the younger generation could continue to pay tribute and listen to her stories and advice. From there, the younger generation would have the opportunity to understand more about the stories of war and the memories of heroic mothers.

It is known that in the July gratitude stream, Thanh Hoa youth have actively organized and participated in practical activities and movements such as: organizing activities to honor Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, relatives of heroic martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution; simultaneously cleaning and taking care of cemeteries and red addresses, organizing incense and flower offerings to honor heroic martyrs; providing free medical examination and medicine; visiting, giving gifts, supporting the construction and repair of gratitude houses; organizing "Gratitude Meals - Warmth of Love"...
