The Deputy Prime Minister and the delegation visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Lien, currently 101 years old, residing in Nha Trang ward; Ms. Ho Thi Luom, born in 1930, Hero of Labor during the resistance war, residing in Bao An ward; Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, born in 1950, a war invalid (71%), who was captured and imprisoned during the resistance war, currently residing in Bao An ward.

According to the Report on the implementation of policies and preferential regimes for people with revolutionary contributions in Khanh Hoa province, currently, a total of 5,668 people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of people with revolutionary contributions are receiving monthly allowances.

The Department of Home Affairs regularly coordinates with authorities at all levels to implement the settlement of regimes for people with revolutionary contributions; coordinates with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the district level to mobilize agencies and political organizations to organize activities to educate the younger generation about patriotic and revolutionary traditions through practical and meaningful activities. For example: Organizing visits and giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of Lunar New Year, War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) and major holidays; visiting and supporting sick people; giving charity savings books; supporting the construction and repair of charity houses, etc. These activities have contributed to raising awareness, sentiment and stabilizing the lives of people with revolutionary contributions in the province.

The review of records and settlement of benefits for meritorious people are ensured to be complete, timely and appropriate. At the same time, the province also expanded socialization to attract and mobilize many resources from the entire population to participate in the movement "Repaying gratitude", the movement "Caring for and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers", the movement "Building and repairing houses of gratitude". 100% of policy families have a standard of living equal to or higher than the average standard of living of local people.
