Some notable tasks include the National AI Transformation Program; Shared AI Computing Infrastructure (AI Supercomputer) implemented by the National Digital Transformation Agency. In the field of innovation, the Ministry is building and implementing a Venture Capital Fund. chaired by the Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises. In the field of science and technology, the Department of Science, Technology and Engineering is assigned to build a shared science and technology infrastructure; the Department of Information and Statistics is responsible for issuing a set of indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of science and technology activities.

Concluding the working session, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung highly appreciated the innovation in the working method of the Ministry of Science and Technology, especially the concise report, going straight to the key tasks, core issues, and strategies of the industry that need to be implemented immediately in 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the key role of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in promoting economic growth, especially in the context of implementing the two goals set by the 13th National Congress. Accordingly, by 2030, Vietnam must become a developing country with modern technology and an upper middle income, and by 2045, it must be a developed country with a high income.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung directed the Ministry of Science and Technology to urgently complete the institution in a synchronous and unified manner, determined to eliminate the mindset of "if you can't manage it, then ban it", and focus on the five draft laws that the Ministry is drafting and will be approved by the National Assembly this year. At the same time, it is necessary to promote the development of digital infrastructure and strategic technology, especially attaching importance to international cooperation.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his belief that the Ministry of Science and Technology , with its new apparatus, with a spirit of solidarity and strong innovation, under the direction of Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, will successfully complete the assigned tasks and responsibilities, especially when these tasks play an important role in promoting the country's economy.
