At the conference, delegates listened to the Provincial People's Council delegates and District People's Council delegates report on the expected program and content of the year-end session of the 18th Provincial People's Council and the 20th District People's Council, and a summary report on some results of the socio-economic development situation in the province in 2023. On that basis, voters participated in expressing their opinions, focusing mainly on the contents of infrastructure construction, new rural areas and some other policies.

Specifically, Thanh Khe commune voters requested the province to have solutions to urge investors to speed up the project implementation in Thanh Thuy commune. Because dozens of hectares of land have been abandoned for a long time, it is a waste, people have no land for production. Request the province and district to support Thanh Khe to continue building the road from Thanh Khe to Thanh Thuy, and have measures to repair Hong Vang dam in Thanh Khe commune. The merger of communes and hamlets causes a huge waste of money and property of the people, especially the hamlet cultural houses. It is necessary to improve the allowance regime for hamlets and villages.

Thanh An commune voters propose: It is necessary to promptly adjust some contents in Decision 48 on the payment of natural disaster support regime for aquaculture. Thanh An has 150 households of Thuong Lam village living on forest land, suggesting that the province and district pay attention so that people can convert to residential land. The provision of cement support by the Provincial People's Committee to the grassroots needs to be reasonable in terms of time.

Thanh Lam commune voters requested the province and district to support Thanh Lam to reach the new rural finish line in 2024, especially supporting cement for people to build rural roads and village cultural houses. In addition, some opinions wanted to create conditions for resettled households in fishing villages to make red books.

Voters of Thanh Ha commune requested the province and district to support the locality in rebuilding some elementary school classrooms to meet national standards and have solutions to combat high-tech crimes, multi-level marketing, etc.

At the conference, on behalf of the delegates of the Provincial People's Council, the District People's Council and the leaders of Thanh Chuong district, the Chairman of the Thanh Chuong District People's Committee received and explained specific opinions. For proposals that are not under the authority of the delegates, they promised to fully summarize and send them to relevant departments, branches, agencies and units for consideration and resolution in the coming time.
