General Nguyen Quyet was born on August 28, 1922. Hometown: Chinh Nghia commune, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province; joined the revolution in 1939, enlisted in the army in August 1945; joined the Communist Party of Vietnam in 1940; in 1990 was awarded the title of General.

During his career, the General was honored to receive many noble awards from the Party and State: Gold Star Order (2007); Ho Chi Minh Order; First Class Military Exploit Order; First Class Feat Order; First Class Victory Order...

On behalf of the city leaders, visiting and presenting gifts to General Nguyen Quyet, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha sent her warm regards, encouragement and expressed deep gratitude for General Nguyen Quyet's great contributions to the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the Fatherland.

Standing Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha said that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, the City has organized many meaningful activities to show gratitude to veteran soldiers, former leaders of the Ministry of Defense, and senior military officers.

On behalf of the city's leaders, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha wished General Nguyen Quyet and his family good health, continued to promote the revolutionary tradition, contribute to the development of the homeland and be shining examples for the younger generation to follow.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council also requested the doctors and nurses of Hospital 108 to continue to perform well the treatment work, provide dedicated and thoughtful care to take care of the General's health; requested the Party Committee and local authorities to continue to pay more attention and take better care of the material and spiritual life of revolutionary veterans and families of policy beneficiaries in the area.
