Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh visited and presented gifts to meritorious families in Lam Dong

On the morning of July 22, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong province, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh and her delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families in Lam Dong province.

Here, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh kindly asked about the health and current life of families with meritorious services to the revolution. The Central working delegation and leaders of Lam Dong province visited and presented gifts to 4 families with meritorious services in the area.

At the same time, with personal feelings, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh mobilized benefactors to support 500 gratitude gifts to send to families of meritorious people in Lam Dong province.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh emphasized that with responsibility, deep affection and gratitude, the Party, State and people always respect and remember the great contributions of those who have contributed to the revolution. In any circumstances, war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and those who have contributed to the revolution are always shining examples of the will to rise up, the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hopes that those who have contributed to the revolution in the province will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, actively participate in economic development, legitimately enrich themselves, build cultural families, new lives in residential areas, make practical contributions to the construction of new rural areas, civilized urban areas, maintain security and order, and actively participate in effectively implementing the two-level local government model.

Lam Dong province currently has over 21,000 martyrs, over 11,000 wounded soldiers, over 5,300 sick soldiers; 2,460 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (17 of whom are still alive); over 4,500 veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres; and over 40,500 resistance fighters.
