Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan offers incense at the statue of King Quang Trung and visits policy families in Binh Dinh

On the afternoon of May 16, in Binh Dinh province, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited Quang Trung Museum, the memorial site of President Ho Chi Minh's father Nguyen Sinh Sac and visited some outstanding policy families in Tay Son district.

At the Quang Trung Museum, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan offered flowers at the statue of Emperor Quang Trung; offered incense at the Tay Son Tam Kiet Temple to commemorate and express gratitude for the merits of Emperor Quang Trung and the Tay Son civil and military mandarins and generals in the struggle to build and defend the country; offered incense at the front house to worship the civil and military mandarins of the Tay Son Dynasty; and offered incense at the Memorial Site of President Ho Chi Minh's father Nguyen Sinh Sac at the Binh Khe District Relic.

On this occasion, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and provincial leaders visited and presented gifts to families of outstanding students, cadres and soldiers of Binh Dinh who gathered in the North in Tay Son district, including: Meritorious teacher Tran Vinh Tho (86 years old, in Phu Phong town); Mr. Huynh Nhanh (96 years old, in Tay Xuan commune).

At the families she visited, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan kindly asked about their health and lives and expressed her deep gratitude for the families’ great contributions and sacrifices to the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland. She hoped that the families would continue to uphold the glorious revolutionary tradition, encourage their children and grandchildren to study hard and contribute to the cause of building and developing their homeland and country.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also requested that Party committees, authorities, associations and unions at all levels need to strengthen education on historical traditions, continue to pay attention and take better care of the material and spiritual lives of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions...
