On the evening of September 7, right after Typhoon Yagi swept through Quang Ninh , comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected the safety of boats anchored to avoid the storm at Cai Xa Cong Fishing Port, Ha Phong Ward, Ha Long City.

The storm shelter anchorage at Cai Xa Cong Fishing Port currently has 210 boats of local people gathered to avoid the storm. Up to this point, when the eye of storm Yagi has passed through Ha Long City, there have been no recorded damages to people or property.
