Check and review the construction of boarding schools in border communes

The inspection team reviewed at Ma Le Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

Pursuant to Document No. 656-QHĐTXD of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province issued on July 30 on the proposal of a list of primary and secondary boarding schools in the border communes. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction, Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Industry and Trade, and People's Committees of border communes to review and propose investment plans to build primary and secondary boarding schools in the border communes in the province according to the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Training in Document No. 4408/BGDĐT-KHTC dated July 29, 2025.

In the border communes, the delegation assessed the current situation, class size, number of students; investment needs for facilities and equipment; school area and planning in a convenient location; oriented the school after investment to meet level 2 facilities standards according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; at the same time, proposed that the school be able to start construction in 2025 and complete and put into use before August 30, 2026.

Investing in building schools in border communes is an important opportunity to fundamentally improve educational conditions for border communes, contributing to improving people's knowledge and human resource quality, creating a source of local ethnic minority cadres, and improving people's lives.
