Dong Nai Buddhism pays tribute to heroic Vietnamese mothers

(DN) - From May 1 to 3, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dong Nai province organized a delegation to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (VNAH) still living in the province. This is one of the activities carried out by Dong Nai Buddhism to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and Buddha's Birthday in 2025.

At each place visited, the delegation presented gifts worth 2 million VND/person (gifts and cash) and wished good health to 20 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. In addition, the delegation also informed the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and their relatives about the Buddha's Birthday celebration to be held in 2025 in districts and cities in the province as well as the United Nations Vesak 2025 to be held in Vietnam in May 2025.
