“… if there was no conflict in Gaza, we could be talking about a war in southern Lebanon given the number of attacks and the impact on the region. I will deliver messages and make proposals to the authorities here to stabilize the region and avoid a conflict,” Sejourne said after visiting the UN peacekeeping force in Naqoura, southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah announced on April 27 that it "launched a complex attack using explosive-laden drones and guided missiles on the Al Manara military command headquarters and the concentration of forces from the 51st Battalion of the Golani Brigade" of Israel.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military announced that its Iron Dome air defense system "successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target flying from Lebanon into the Manara area of northern Israel." The Israeli military also announced that it had targeted the launch site of several anti-tank missiles fired from Lebanon into the Manara border area.

Later, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli airstrike on a house in the village of Srebbine injured 11 people.

Earlier on April 27, the Israeli military announced that its fighter jets had "attacked a Hezbollah military facility in the Qouzah area of southern Lebanon."
