On the afternoon of March 1, the announcement and decision-making ceremony for the new Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee was held locally. Previously, Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam, Deputy Minister of Transport , was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, replacing Mr. Hoang Trung Dung, who was assigned to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam, born in 1972, from Dong Tien commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province; Master's degree in Engineering, Bridge and Tunnel Construction Engineer. Before becoming Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, he held many key positions at the Ministry of Transport.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam's work process:
- From August 1994 - June 2002: Expert of the Appraisal Board, Department of Appraisal and Quality Management of Transport Works, Ministry of Transport.
- From July 2002 - August 2004: Deputy Head of Site Clearance Department, Department of Appraisal and Quality Management of Transport Works, Ministry of Transport.
- From September 2004 - June 2007: Member of the Party Committee of the Department, Secretary of the Party Cell of the Department's Office, Head of the Department of Site Clearance and Project Implementation Appraisal, Department of Appraisal and Quality Management of Transport Works, Ministry of Transport.
- From July 2007 - March 2010: Head of Bidding Department, Vietnam Road Administration, Ministry of Transport.
- From April 2010 - March 2011: Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department, Deputy Director of the Department of Road Construction Management, Vietnam Road Administration.
- From April 2011 - December 2013: Member of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Road Administration, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Vietnam Road Administration.
- From January 2014 - April 2014: Member of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Road Administration, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department, Director of the Department of Road Construction Management, Vietnam Road Administration.

- From March 1, 2025: Assigned and appointed by the Politburo to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
