Implementing Uncle Ho's teaching "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation"; Farmers' Associations at all levels in the district have effectively organized and implemented the Association's key emulation movements in conjunction with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Farmers' Associations from the district to the grassroots have flexibly applied and concretized them into emulation movements suitable for each locality and field. In particular, the movement "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty" has encouraged farmer members to accumulate land, build large fields; participate in developing craft villages; change the structure of crops and livestock; convert low-yield rice and salt-growing land to aquaculture, growing vegetables, medicinal plants and winter crops; develop new models in production, contributing to increasing income per unit of cultivated area, creating many competitive agricultural products in the market. In 2024, the area of ​​crops linked to production according to the value chain will reach 515 hectares, including 373 hectares of rice, 82 hectares of medicinal plants; 89.2% of the rice area will be planted with quality varieties; 767 hectares of rice will be fertilized with organic fertilizers; 96 models of tray rice transplanters will be installed for an area of ​​over 1,200 hectares. The dossier has been completed and the planting area codes have been granted to 26 rice growing areas in 26 communes, with a scale of 30-35 hectares/area. The value of harvested products per hectare of cultivated land and aquaculture area will reach 223 million VND. Many products have been recognized as 3-star and 4-star quality OCOP products.

The Association at all levels has also mobilized cadres and farmer members to actively participate in building collective economic models. Up to now, the district has 59 cooperatives established and operating effectively; 4 professional associations, 28 professional association groups, 20 cooperative groups. The Association at all levels also supports members in accessing and applying technical processes, technology, and new varieties to invest in production development, and participate in implementing the district's agricultural restructuring project. In 2024, the district will have 46,601 households registered for the title of households achieving excellent production and business at all levels. Thousands of cadres and members have become typical examples of converting crops and livestock to achieve high economic efficiency, with an annual income of over 100 million VND; many households have an income of several hundred million to billions of VND. A typical example is the household of Mr. Do Van Luyen, a Hai Anh farmer member, who developed a model of producing fine art wooden furniture, creating jobs for dozens of workers. Mr. Dinh Van Thuan, a farmer member of Hai Dong commune, with a model of raising bird's nests combined with aquaculture and growing medicinal plants, was awarded the title of "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer" in 2024. Not only promoting economic development, implementing the campaign "Day for the poor" and the movement "For the poor - no one is left behind", the Farmers' Association from the district to the grassroots level has also actively mobilized cadres and members to support and help many member families improve their living standards; support the construction and repair of houses for members in especially difficult circumstances. 100% of grassroots associations assigned targets to branches to help poor households, some units such as Hai Dong and Hai Hung communes have made specific lists of members to be helped and organized the implementation effectively... Performing the representative function, taking care of the practical interests of members, with the motto "focusing on the grassroots, taking the grassroots as the area of ​​operation", the Association at all levels has also proactively strengthened coordination with departments, branches, and organizations to exploit, mobilize, and create resources to support farmers in terms of capital, science, technology, and new technology. The total source of the Farmers Support Fund in the district currently has 2,937 billion VND, lending to 103 households to develop production models.

In the construction of advanced and exemplary new rural areas, the Association at all levels continues to propagate and mobilize cadres and members to improve the criteria, participate in upgrading the traffic system, cultural houses in hamlets, residential groups, lighting systems, environmental sanitation, village roads and alleys, and beautify family grounds to be bright - green - clean - beautiful. Continue to organize and implement the plan to mobilize digging holes to collect, classify and treat soft waste in households, and collect pesticide packaging in the fields. The district Association maintains activities and replicates the model of classifying household waste and treating organic waste as fertilizer in 100% of communes and towns in the district. To date, there have been a total of 48,364 bins and covered pits treated with microorganisms and over 30,000 garbage pits in households. Units that maintain and implement the model well include Hai Trung, Hai Hung, Hai Dong, Hai Anh communes, Yen Dinh town... Commune and town Farmers' Associations continue to implement the plan, promote propaganda, and mobilize farmers to build the model "Model gardens and ponds" in the period of 2019-2025; to date, they have implemented and mobilized over 2,000 households to register to build model gardens. Associations at all levels also propagate and mobilize farmers to actively participate in purchasing health insurance and social insurance, with 53,664 members participating in health insurance, 217 farmers participating in voluntary social insurance.

The promotion of studying and following Uncle Ho by the Farmers' Association at all levels in Hai Hau district has encouraged and motivated each farmer member to have the awareness and determination to overcome difficulties, strive to become rich legitimately, contributing to promoting the development of the agricultural, rural and farmer movement, and improving the material and spiritual life of members. In the coming time, local cadres and members will continue to combine studying and following Uncle Ho with implementing patriotic emulation movements, emulation in good production and business, striving to have 60% or more of farmer households registered by 2025 and 50% or more of registered households achieving the title of good production and business at all levels.
