Triều Dương Bridge – Connecting lives, expanding trade

Triều Dương Bridge was inaugurated in 1995 on National Highway 39A, spanning the Luoc River, connecting Tien Lu District (Hung Yen) with Hung Ha District ( Thai Binh ). With a solid reinforced concrete structure, a length of about 400m, a bridge surface of 10m wide, Triều Dương Bridge ensures the travel needs of people and the transportation of goods with heavy trucks.

Before this bridge, people on both sides of the river mainly traveled by boat, facing many difficulties during the rainy season. The inauguration of Trieu Duong Bridge has helped the journey across the river become safe, fast and smooth all year round. In particular, the bridge has made an important contribution to promoting trade, improving production and business efficiency for residents of the two provinces. Agricultural products, construction materials, and consumer goods circulate more conveniently, thereby significantly improving people's lives.

Not only does it have economic value, Triều Dương Bridge is also a beloved memory in community life. Mr. Đinh Văn Xuyến, Hưng Hà District (Thai Binh) shared: My house is on this side of the river, my wife is on the other side. Since Triều Dương Bridge was built, traveling to visit relatives, hold death anniversaries or pick up and drop off children and grandchildren has become very convenient. Now hearing the news of the two provinces merging, passing through this bridge makes me feel closer, as if my hometown and my wife's hometown are no longer separate.

The image of Trieu Duong bridge is also found in poetry and music, such as the poem "Passing Trieu Duong bridge" by poet Pham Dinh Nhan or   song   “By Trieu Duong Bridge” by musician Nguyen Xuan Thap, shows the deep attachment of people to this project associated with many changes.

La Tien Bridge – Strategic connection for new development journey

If Trieu Duong Bridge initiates the process of connecting Hung Yen - Thai Binh traffic, La Tien Bridge is a strategic step contributing to the completion of the regional infrastructure network. La Tien Bridge crosses the Luoc River, connecting Hung Ha District (Thai Binh) with Phu Cu District (Hung Yen), part of the inter-provincial road project connecting Ring Road V, Hanoi Capital Region with National Highway 38B and Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway.

La Tien Bridge has a bridge length of more than 1km (total route 7.8km). This is an important project to create a continuous route connecting Thai Binh and Hung Yen provinces, connecting expressways and national highways, connecting with traffic routes towards the center of Thai Binh city and trading with the provinces of the Red River Delta, gradually completing the traffic network according to the planning; ensuring traffic safety and improving transport capacity, creating spaces for industrial and urban development, creating conditions for economic and social development; connecting the Luoc River dike with   National Highway 38B and   National Highway 39 ensures rescue, disaster prevention and control during the rainy season...

The two provinces of Hung Yen and Thai Binh merged, La Tien bridge became an important part connecting industrial clusters and new residential areas, creating a solid foundation for synchronous and interconnected economic and social development.

Mrs. Dang Thi Chieu ,   People in Nguyen Hoa commune (Phu Cu)   share:   When Hung Yen - Thai Binh are under one roof, La Tien bridge will also be a new development link for the whole region.

Two bridges, two solid connecting spans will continue to tell the story of the development of the Hung Yen - Thai Binh region. From the ferries of the past to the wide open roads of today, the Luoc River is no longer an obstacle that makes traffic inconvenient, but a witness, a happy connecting bridge, connecting people's hearts...
