Many supermarkets in Hai Duong launch promotional programs on the occasion of Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday.

The number of customers coming to Lan Chi Mart supermarket in Kinh Mon town during the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday also increased by 15 - 25% compared to normal. The supermarket launched a number of programs such as "Buy 1 Get 1 Free", consumers were allowed to try some confectionery, processed foods... The supermarket applied incentives and promotions on more than 2,000 items, mainly food, confectionery, soft drinks, clothes... with a discount of 7 - 49% on product value.

On this occasion, the number of customers coming to traditional markets to shop is also higher than usual. According to a survey at some traditional markets such as Con Market and Dong Ngo Quyen Market (Hai Duong City), the prices of some items have increased slightly. Specifically, pork belly is 155,000 - 160,000 VND/kg, beef is 280,000 - 330,000 VND/kg, ready-made chicken is 120,000 - 130,000 VND/kg, ready-made duck is 80,000 - 85,000 VND/kg, tiger prawns are 400,000 - 500,000 VND/kg, carp (2 - 3 kg/fish) is 55,000 - 60,000 VND/kg... These prices have increased by 5,000 - 7,000 VND/kg compared to before the holiday.

Some vegetables also increased in price by 2,000 - 3,000 VND compared to normal days. Specifically, Malabar spinach is 15,000 - 20,000 VND/bunch, Malabar spinach, mustard greens, and water spinach are 12,000 - 15,000 VND/bunch, and squash is 20,000 - 24,000 VND/kg.
