NIC Director Vu Quoc Huy said that this is an important international event, providing opportunities to access the latest information and affirming Vietnam's role in the global semiconductor and artificial intelligence industry value chain.

More than 1,000 leaders and experts are expected to attend the event, including representatives of large enterprises such as Google DeepMind, IBM, Intel, TSMC, Samsung, MediaTek, Tokyo Electron, Panasonic, Qorvo, Marvell..., along with representatives of many developed countries and economies.

AISC 2025 focuses on the latest and most groundbreaking AI content in revolutionizing chip design and manufacturing, and the potential of advanced semiconductor architectures for AI.

Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Duc Tam said: “Vietnam focuses on promoting digital transformation, green transformation and developing science and technology, innovation to create breakthroughs in productivity, quality and increase the competitiveness of the economy, in which the semiconductor industry and artificial intelligence are identified as playing a key role.”

Dr. Christopher Nguyen, founder of Aitomatic, co-organizer of AISC 2025, also shared: “AISC 2025 marks an important turning point in the development of AI and semiconductor technology. We bring together the world's leading innovators to showcase real breakthroughs at the intersection of AI and semiconductors.”

According to Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, with the goal of taking advantage of the "golden opportunity" to accelerate the development of the domestic AI and semiconductor fields, NIC has implemented activities to promote international cooperation in developing and applying technology to form an innovation ecosystem in key areas such as AI and semiconductors. "AISC is one of the activities that NIC co-organized to realize this goal," said Mr. Huy.

According to the Organizing Committee, facing the booming trend of AI and semiconductor industry, Vietnam takes advantage of this opportunity with policies to attract investment and support human resource training, including: Subsidizing chip and AI production costs; The government focuses on systematic training in AI and semiconductors, granting scholarships, and exempting tuition fees for semiconductor students, contributing to improving the quality of human resources...

However, Vietnam also faces the problem of sustainable development and improving competitiveness with other countries in the region and the world.
