The structure, called "The Ring", will become the symbol of a six-month global event that opens on April 13.

According to Guinness, the roof of "The Ring" covers an area of more than 61,000 square meters. At the certification ceremony, Sosuke Fujimoto - the architect who designed the project - expressed his hope that this symbol will convey a message about the importance of unity in an increasingly polarized world.

The structure is 20m high and has a total circumference of about 2km, built from about 27,000 cubic metres of wood, including species such as cypress, Japanese cedar, European red pine... The design using wood not only brings traditional beauty but also demonstrates Japan's commitment to sustainable development and green architecture.

With the theme "Creating the Future of Sustainable Living", Expo 2025 Osaka is expected to attract millions of international visitors and is an opportunity for Japan to showcase green technology solutions and environmentally friendly architecture.
