When the Organizing Committee announced Nguyen Huu Vuong as the Music Director of the national concert "Fatherland in the Heart" taking place on the evening of August 10 at My Dinh National Stadium with a scale of 50,000 spectators, many people were surprised because Nguyen Huu Vuong is a young musician but has been assigned an important responsibility at a big show. Nguyen Huu Vuong was born in 1987, is currently one of the most prestigious Music Directors today and his name has been affirmed through a series of sold-out shows of two leading male singers, Tung Duong and Ha Anh Tuan.
However, if other live concerts have a target audience, the national concert "Fatherland in the Heart" is a huge challenge for Nguyen Huu Vuong. "For those who produce music for live shows, the first thing they think about is the audience. It will determine how they make music. For example, young audiences will make youthful music, while for middle-aged audiences, the music will have more depth.
The concert "Fatherland in the Heart" has a wide audience of all people with different ages and generations. This poses a difficult problem for me in choosing songs, making music, arranging music while having only 2 weeks to do it with a huge amount of work including making music, recording, recording choirs, and creating backing groups," said the musician.
To serve the entire population and satisfy everyone, he must think of a way to please everyone. Therefore, Huu Vuong chose a diverse repertoire of revolutionary songs, old songs, and also some youth and children's songs. Besides such challenges, the positive point of the program will be the rich repertoire due to the many genres and colors of music.
Huu Vuong revealed that the song "Continuing the story of peace" is one of the highlights of the program. In addition, the song "Leng Dang" will be arranged in a strong rock style or the children's work "Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh more than children and teenagers" will appear in the national concert. In addition, he also chose the hit songs of the artists participating in the program to serve a certain number of their fans who come to watch the show.
The concert "Fatherland in the Heart" takes place at a time when many programs praising the country are taking place on this occasion, so there will be overlaps. Therefore, Huu Vuong must find a way to create a special musical mark for "Fatherland in the Heart". The musician said that he will re-arrange all 23 works in the program instead of possibly reusing arrangements from some old programs.
In addition, another challenge is that Vietnamese music has created many singers from game shows and reality shows, but there are not many artists who can perform revolutionary songs well and only a few famous faces. The concert "Fatherland in the Heart" besides Tung Duong cannot lack Meritorious Artist Dang Duong or singer Vo Ha Tram....
Before "Fatherland in the Heart", the musician born in 1987 had been the Music Director for many live shows, most notably the shows of Ha Anh Tuan and Tung Duong such as: "Ranging Horizon", "Sketch A Rose", "Human"... Right after "Fatherland in the Heart", Nguyen Huu Vuong is preparing for Ha Anh Tuan's live show which will take place in October at the prestigious Dolby Theater (Los Angeles, USA). This is where the annual Oscar awards ceremony takes place and Ha Anh Tuan is the first Vietnamese artist to hold a show here.
