According to Mr. Kireev, Israel wants to confront Iran - its strategic enemy by drawing the United States into the conflict. All this is happening against the backdrop of the Jewish State's ongoing campaign in the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, according to the expert, Iran feels strong thanks to the support of Russia and China.

“Iran is ready to challenge Israel even if Washington is involved in this war. If that happens, it will be a step towards world war,” Mr. Kireev analyzed.

On April 1, Israel attacked the Iranian Embassy in the Syrian capital Damascus, completely destroying the building. The attack killed at least 11 people, including many generals from elite units of the Islamic Republic's Armed Forces. Tehran threatened revenge and pledged that Israel would "regret this crime."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Iran has been acting against Israel for years, both directly and through Tehran's proxy forces, so the Jewish state must strike back.

On April 6, in response to a reporter's question about Vietnam's reaction to the attack on the Iranian Embassy in Syria, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated: Vietnam condemns the attack on the Iranian Embassy in Syria. Diplomatic and consular offices must be respected and protected in accordance with international law.
