* On the morning of August 24, Comrade Vieng Thoong Si Phan Don - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and his delegation visited and offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site.

* On the morning of August 24, in Vinh city, the Conference on trade promotion and connection of consumption of collective economic products and cooperatives in 2023 took place. The event was organized by Nghe An Cooperative Alliance and attracted the participation of representatives of cooperative alliances from 13 provinces and cities in the country such as: Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Son La, Hanoi, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Binh Thuan.

* To celebrate the 78th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023), all villages in the province are brightly decorated with flags, banners, and welcome slogans.

* A series of hospitals in Nghe An have medical examination and treatment service indexes that exceed the national average. In some medical examination and treatment facilities, there is still a situation of unreasonable prescription of technical services, drugs and medical supplies; widespread prescription of inpatient treatment, not in accordance with regulations, increasing the cost of medical examination and treatment.

* Police in Nghe An discovered a homemade storage compartment under the trailer of a truck, inside the compartment were many logs of wood (suspected rosewood) and animal scales (suspected pangolin scales), the total value of the shipment was about more than 10 billion VND.
