Promoting the leadership role of the Party Committee

Thoroughly grasping the viewpoint that Party building is a key task, grassroots party organizations under the Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises (CCQ&DN) of Ha Tinh province have concretized resolutions at all levels, promoted the role of political core, constantly improved leadership capacity and fighting strength; thereby, building a strong party organization, leading the implementation of professional, production and business tasks well, making important contributions to the development of the province.

Mr. Ho Duc Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Petroleum Company said: “The achievement of such results is thanks to the spirit of solidarity and unanimity of cadres, party members and employees in the whole unit, including the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the company. Promoting the leadership role of the Party Committee and setting an example for the leader, for many years, the Party Committee of the Department of Industry and Trade has always been a united and strong Party Committee, successfully and excellently completing assigned political tasks. The Party Committee always focuses on promoting democracy, creating an environment for cadres to contribute; being objective and scientific in management and direction, thereby advising on many policies, plans, strategies and management mechanisms to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the industry in the period of international economic integration and digital transformation.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Government Offices and Enterprises Block Dang Ngoc Son presented certificates of merit to party organizations under the Party Committee of the Block with outstanding achievements in improving the quality of party cell activities (November 2023).

According to Mr. Hoang Van Quang - Party Committee Secretary, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Party Committee always closely follows the three breakthrough tasks set forth in the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, which are: improving the quality of Party cell activities, focusing on political education, creating solidarity, consensus, building a comprehensively strong Party Committee; promoting the responsibility of leaders in directing and operating to continue to effectively implement administrative reform, building a contingent of qualified and capable cadres to perform tasks; enhancing the role of State management, closely following the grassroots, promoting socialization of investment in industrial clusters, developing modern and civilized commercial infrastructure.

Not only leading and directing the implementation of political and business tasks, Party cells and Party committees also actively participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, social security... During the year, grassroots Party organizations in the entire Provincial Party Committee of State Agencies and Enterprises mobilized more than 30 billion VND for social activities, more than 17 billion VND to support localities in building new rural areas.

Innovation in Party cell activities

Along with organizing regular Party cell meetings according to the instructions of the higher-level Party Committee, in recent times, Party cells under the Party Committee of the Ha Tinh Market Management Department have developed their own set of documents to ensure that the meetings are always innovative and closer to reality; constantly innovate the management methods of the Party Committee, create an open atmosphere for Party members to frankly exchange opinions, actively criticize and self-criticize. The unit also effectively applies the Party activity management software guided by the Party Committee of the Provincial Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hao - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Legal Department of the Market Management Department said: “For a Party Committee to be good, it must have good Party cells and good Party members; therefore, we always pay attention to Party cell activities. Along with organizing regular activities, each Party cell organizes a thematic activity once a quarter. The Party Committee also established a support team consisting of young and enthusiastic Party members to advise on work and remind them of work in Party work. Therefore, although Party members are scattered, the Party Committee has promoted its leadership role well and performed all assigned tasks well.”

Ha Tinh Telecommunications Party Committee organized conferences to disseminate Party directives and resolutions and held serious and methodical thematic meetings.

Maintaining regular Party cell activities, and assigning Party Committee members to monitor and participate in regular meetings with Party cells to promptly grasp developments in the meetings is one of the effective methods deployed by the Ha Tinh Telecommunications Party Committee. According to Mr. Ho Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, Director of Ha Tinh Telecommunications, to improve the quality of activities, the executive role of the Party Committee is extremely important. We require Party cells to report concise and clear content, and spend most of the time for Party members to discuss and express their opinions. The contents of the meetings are informed in advance for Party members to grasp.

Along with improving the quality of Party cell activities, the Party Committee of the Provincial Bloc of Agencies and Enterprises pays special attention to the work of developing Party members. In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee set a target of admitting over 900 Party members, of which over 400 are Party members in enterprises. Up to now, although only halfway through the term, the Party Committee's target of developing Party members has exceeded the set plan. Since the beginning of the term, the entire Party Committee has admitted 1,059 Party members, of which: 669 Party members in the agency and unit block and 390 Party members in the enterprise block.

In order to continue improving the quality of grassroots party organizations, in the coming time, the Party Committee of the bloc will continue to deploy, disseminate and propagate the directives and resolutions of the Party and State; carry out well the work of political and ideological education; and promote the leadership and direction role of the head.

Continuously innovate the content and methods of operation of grassroots party organizations in the direction of expanding democracy, overcoming formality in activities, and ensuring the leadership, education, and combativeness of party organizations.

Regularly pay attention to planning, training, fostering, and appointing cadres; pay attention to the development of party organizations and party members in enterprises. Focus on innovating the content of party activities in a concise, high-quality, and focused manner.

Focus on consolidating, perfecting and improving the quality of activities of Party committees and Party cells in enterprises; provide timely and effective guidance and support to Party organizations facing difficulties and obstacles in professional matters. At the same time, strengthen the inspection and supervision of Party organizations and Party members.
