On the morning of February 2, on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and the New Year of the Dragon, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and General Secretary Le Hong Phong.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; together with comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee; heads of provincial-level socio-political organizations.

Delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province visited the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nam Dan to respectfully offer flowers and incense to express gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of our Party and People; Founder and trainer of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In 2023, in a context that is perceived as having more difficulties than advantages, greater challenges than opportunities, combined with a complex and unstable world situation affecting the country, but with a spirit of solidarity and high unity in the political system and the joint efforts of the people and business community, in 2023, the province achieved 25/28 targets.

Growth rate reached 7.14%, ranked 26/63; economic scale was about 193,000 billion VND, ranked 10/63 provinces and centrally-run cities.
2023 is the second consecutive year that the province's budget revenue has exceeded the 20,000 billion VND mark, reaching 21,279 billion VND. Attracting foreign investment continues to be a bright spot with over 1.6 billion USD, ranking 8th out of 63 provinces and cities.

Culture, society, especially education and health care, continue to have outstanding results. Social security work is promoted and achieves high results.
National defense and security are stable and peaceful; foreign affairs activities are vibrant, achieving many important results. Administrative reform has clearly seen positive changes.



In 2023, the province completed the summary of Resolution 26 of the Politburo and continued to have Resolution No. 39 issued by the Politburo on the construction and development of Nghe An province until 2030, with a vision to 2045, which was directly disseminated by the Secretariat. The Prime Minister approved the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and organized the announcement of the planning.
Preparing to celebrate the traditional Tet holiday, Nghe An province organized the program "Tet for the poor - Spring of Giap Thin 2024", mobilizing more than 140 billion VND, bringing the poor a warm and meaningful Spring.

In 2024, with confidence and expectation for a year with new momentum and new spirit, the Party Committee, government and people of the whole province continue to have the highest determination to build Nghe An homeland to become increasingly rich and developed as Uncle Ho wished during his lifetime.
In the sacred moment, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province vowed to forever study and follow his noble ideology, morality, and style.

At the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Hong Phong, Hung Thong Commune, Hung Nguyen District, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An Province respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the General Secretary.

General Secretary Le Hong Phong (1902 - 1942), former member of the Executive Committee of the Communist International, former General Secretary of the Indochinese Communist Party, was one of the outstanding leaders of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, a close student of President Ho Chi Minh, an outstanding son of his hometown Nghe An.

With 40 years of age and 20 years of continuous and enthusiastic revolutionary activities, the life, achievements and great contributions of General Secretary Le Hong Phong have made an important contribution to the glorious revolutionary victory of our Party and People; forever lasting with the country, adding strength and encouragement to generations of cadres, party members and people in the cause of innovation, construction and development of a strong and prosperous country.



Following the path and career of General Secretary Le Hong Phong, in 2024, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province are determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, join hands and unite to build their homeland to become increasingly prosperous, strong and sustainable.
